Who We Are
TJ Tree Felling has been doing exceptional work in the greater Johannesburg area and even as far north as Kitwe in Zambia, for over 12 years. Founder, Chris Jakarasi, started in the tree care industry by working in his father’s tree business, before branching out on his own. We are licensed and carry all of the required insurance to protect our clients and employees.
Since we have moved to our permanent premises on Sangster Road, Magaliesig in Fourways Sandton, we have been able to expand our services from tree felling, topping, trimming, stump removal and site clearing to include providing and laying instant lawn, top soil, lawn dressings, compost, irrigation installations and landscaping services as well as a wide variety of decorative stones and accessories to beautify your garden.
History
I was once asked what inspired me to do all the things we are doing now with my business, to tell the truth one thing led to another. From working with my father, cutting trees (tree care to site clearing) it eventually led to landscaping and garden design.
The tree stumps/ logs cut were used for firewood at that time but in the process I discovered we could custom make beautiful furniture. l couldn't waste time and resources anymore. l can officially say I was inspired by taking each and every opportunity to make a dead tree into a beautiful Live Edge custom useable item and making a positive difference in the lives our customers.
